Thoughts Of Safety

Container Bins

When I used to work at an animal shelter we had these pens outside for people to drop off animals after hours. The people were supposed to fill out a form releasing the pet and saying where it came from, how long they had had it, whether it had bitten anyone, etc. The problem was the forms were kept in a cheap, metal mailbox. Most of the time people didn't know they were there and other times, it would rain and the forms would get so wet that when they were removed they would fall apart.

These problems might have been avoided if we had had a container bin like the one's sold by Texas America Safety Company. These boxes can mount to a wall, or simply placed on a counter or shelf. These 12"w x 11"h x 12"d containers are made of a clear vinyl to allow people to see clearly what is inside. The bins are generally used to hold any form of safety equipment like respirators, boot covers, and hair nets but these would be great for holding anything that you want to have seen but also kept safe.
